I seriously never even heard of this happening one time in my high school days. The first time I ever heard about a female teacher screwing her student was that LeTourneau case which was a massive story for back then.

It happened in my very small High School in 84/85. Senior QB and a young teacher (who was only a few years older than the kid).

I graduated in 1990 and knew a guy two years behind me that screwed a teacher. She came after I graduated but she was fresh out of college and used to go out drinking with his friend group. She was not remotely attractive and was clearly trying to experience some high school glory that she had missed out on. The guy could and did do much better than her. I guess she was a novelty. For the record, it did not scar him for life.

It’s been going on all along, though I think it’s becoming more common than it use to be.
