I don’t know how much detail you want, but every administration goes off on some new program that costs hundreds of billions. Bush had the Iraq war, Obama the medical giveaway and solar and wind boondoggles, Trump had the Saudi outreach, Biden has the green bullshite, the covid bonanza and Ukraine.

They subsidize countries, wars, medical care, or whatever, and the companies that benefit have already given them fortunes in contributions, stock tips, etc.

The poster to whom you responded wrote that “most” of the money comes back to US politicians, and that is obviously false. But a lot does.
