Potentially for a conviction. He hasn't been convicted yet, though.
He's only been arrested and is presumed innocent for the purposes of that stage of the proceeding.

how many felonies does a dude need to be accused of while in possession of what is basically a "machine gun pistol" before you think it is acceptable for the courts to apply cash bail?
