re: Woman, 85, shoots and kills home intruder in ‘heroic’ act of self-defense

Why is the word heroic in quotes in thread title? I'd say this definitely qualifies.

I mean, not only did she have the presence of mind and agility to sneak into her room while handcuffed to a chair in order to retrieve her gun, but she was also able to shoot the thug dead, took several bullets herself, and survived for 10 hours before help arrived. That's one tough hero granny!
