It’s a great show and pretty nuanced too.
Funny how people were always, always, drinking and also often shown working late into the evening.
The intermittent club/bar scenes are cool.
Later seasons, they were always swimming too. Which was especially nice when Pam was.
And the frequent huge Ewing bashes that always ended in calamity.

I drive by Southfork Ranch all the time and take for granted people from around the world were obsessed with Dallas and fly around the world to see that place.

By todays standards everyone on the show, maybe with the exception of Miss Ellie, would be considered an alcoholic. I love how as Sue Ellen is struggling with alcoholism it never crosses their mind to put away the booze.
