re: How surprising is the rise of Jalen Brunson to you?

Mavs fans could see at the tail end of his time in Dallas he was going to be a legit scoring guard who could at least be a borderline all star.

It's painfully hilarious as a Mavs fan to have lived through Cuban fricking up and letting Nash go for nothing proclaiming he'd never mess up like that again and then doing the same damn thing w/ Brunson nearly 20 years later.

Also, it was never a Brunson needed to get out of Luak's shadow thing. He would have still become the same guy in Dallas had Cuban not trying to get cute w/his contract b/c he works his arse off at improving his game and anyone who has watched how well Kyrie plays w/Luka knows that Brunson would have been doing the same basic thing expect he'd be more likely to be healthy most of the year.
