Hard to think it went poorly. TBD if the numbers work out for both parties. Hoping they dont bite on the first DT that visits and they can wait till all the spring camps wrap up and see what portal looks like.

He cancelled his OU visit this weekend. Between us and Mizzou but we should be getting good news soon

So in order, who are the best DTs in the portal? Include Patrick Jenkins in case he enters.

I mean if he gets a higher offer from Auburn than LSU, I don’t see it as a knock on the kid. Now, I don’t believe LSU is going to pass up on a must-need and pay whatever is necessary. I’d be shocked if we get outbid on someone we really want like we did with FSU on Fiske, Cypress & Coleman.

To be fair, Blidi apparently has a wife and 2 kids.

I heard LSU has the money since they offered Thomas, Wingo, and Smith big NIL to stay.

They certainly started the fan fundraising approach before LSU, but there’s a lot of money for LSU to play with this year

I don't think it's an issue of having more or less money. It's about priorities and where to put them. I believe LSU had substantial NIL money available to keep Wingo and Smith, now they can reallocate that money.

It just depends if they think Blidi is the guy or not. I would expect them to pony up for two potential starters, plus maybe less for a depth piece.

Agreed but we have better coaches so if the NFL is his goal…
