That doofus lost control of his courtroom, and the rest is history.
The prosecution team was one gaffe after another as well. Asking OJ to try on the gloves is probably taught in law schools as a textbook "Do not."
edit: To be fair, I don't recall exactly if they asked him to, or if the defense team asked and they allowed -- either way inexcusable.
