ETA: After some internet exploring, here's the obituary of the shooter's husband.

Talk about picking the wrong 85 year-old grandma.

Rod passed away peacefully on November 14th at his home north of Blackfoot, Idaho. He was born on Dec. 5th in Parma, New York. He attended college at the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., Career Signal School Fort Monmouth, N.J., Armored Cav, Fort Knox, KY., and graduated from Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. On Nov. 24, 1960 he married Christine Bogdanoff. They had 2 children, Timothy in 1962 and David in 1965.

He was a member of the New York State National Guard for 27 years, and troop commander of the Culver Road Armory for several years before moving from New York. He attained the rank of major.

His career with Eastman Kodak Co. started when he was 19 years old working in the research lab in Rochester. He was heavily involved in the aerial reconnaissance and mapping division until 1974 when the family moved to Crown Point, Indiana when Rod became a technical sales rep dealing with professional color labs. He covered the state of Indiana and up to the middle of Chicago. In 1978 he was promoted to the Wisconsin territory and covered Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan. 1985 saw his last promotion which was to California where his territory expanded to 17 states, from Alaska to Hawaii to Louisiana. His Career with Kodak covered 37 years.

He retired in the early 1990’s and became more involved with our country’s National and International Shooting Programs. He was one of the founders of USA Shooting, the governing body for Olympic shooting for the United States. He was a member of the International Shooting Sport Federation headquartered in Munich, Germany and served on the Running Target and Judges Committees for many years. He traveled extensively serving at World Cup and Olympic events all over the world.

His Lutheran Missouri Synod faith was evident everywhere he lived, serving on multiple board and committees in each place. Grace Lutheran Church in Pocatello was his last place of worship.

Rod belonged to many conversation and environmental organizations as well as shooting organizations. He was a life member of the NRA and California Rifle and Pistol Association, Safari Club International, as well as a member of Cedar Hills Gun Club. He was awarded commendations from many organizations and countries for his dedicated service.

Rod is survived by his wife Christine, son David, grandson Jacob, and daughter-in-law Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Violet Jenneiahn, sister Barbara Haight, infant brother Roger, and son Timothy who passed away in March of this year.


A celebration of life will be held in honor of Rod and his son Tim at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 26th 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pocatello, Idaho."
