So when you first see some flashers ahead, which are close because you can't see, do you hard brake immediately or just go a little bit more because you know it's probably an idiot like you doing the same shite you are?

I saw them turn on their hazards while going the speed limit as the rain got harder, and they were not slowing down, so I knew what their intentions were. No hard brakes. Then when they pulled over to the slow lane and I passed them… guess what I saw?

You guessed it! Another car with hazards on going the speed limit. Again, no issues were presented.

Guess what would happen if a car were stopped in the middle of the interstate and not pulled over to the shoulder during a driving rain?

You guessed it! A pileup would occur if the other drivers were not able to quickly change lanes (hazards or no hazards).

If the car isn’t moving, you gotta get that car off the road and safely onto the shoulder.

So you rely on the intended use of brake lights to determine a drivers actions. But you have to guess how drivers are using their hazard lights because they aren’t using them for what they are made for.

Sounds like a lot of assumptions when it could all be cleared up if people just did what the lights are lawfully meant to do.
