You're correct, but objecting to a state decision that went in favor of conservatism and then trying to tie your position to Trump/Conservatives is pure absurdity.
She has no idea what she believes (if anything), which is why she looks so ridiculous on this.
I think that she, and others could more appropriately say, "The court made the right decision as a matter of law but I would like to change the law".
Because honestly, the court did make the right decision and it's kind of refreshing to see a court do what it's supposed to do. Namely..........."Hey legislators, this is what your legislation actually says..............if you don't like it, YOU fix it because we aren't going to".
Too many judges seem to think that if they see bad law, it's their job to correct it but that ain't how our system is supposed to work.

Interesting about the AZ supreme court. It was packed with conservatives by Gov Ducey, and an interesting thing about Ducey - he's despised by Trump/MAGA (which is why he's not running for the senate) and commonly viewed as "establishment" but by the time he left office he had delivered a flat 2.5% state income tax, packed (added two justices) the supreme court with conservatives, made Arizona the first state to give parents true universal school choice/vouchers, and reduced state payroll by 5,000 (20%) while AZ GDP grew by nearly 50%.
Pretty impressive from the conservative POV, and it's unfortunate Trump's petty loyalty nonsense stands in the way of Ducey turning a blue senate seat red, with an actual conservative to boot.
