It’s not that, I just get caught up in the hype every preseason like everyone else. All we heard was how much pitching talent they assembled for this years team. I bit hook line and sinker again. The pitching on this team is actually pitiful in reality.

you’d be shocked to learn that the overall numbers for our top 3 starters isn’t very far off from our top 3 at this point last year.
the big difference is Skenes’ Ridiculous K/BB ratio.
Holman has more wins at this point that Skenes did.
Jump has better numbers than Floyd did at this point. But he gets straddled with losses due to lack of support while Floyd was getting wins despite struggling to get out of the 4th inning.
Hurd is what Hurd was last year.
so overall were roughly right where we were with weekend pitching at this point last season.
