The Oak Harbor exit is trashy. My wife's Uncle lives in Lakeshore Estates. It's a great location with some nice homes, but overall poorly developed.

As mentioned in a previous post, live in Bay St. Louis and commute to Slidell. It's +/- 30 minutes. A few more minutes and you're in Pass Christian.

That is the downside to that area. You still have to shop with the regular slidellians.

Lakeshore is built on the old Slidell dump. Take that for what it’s worth.
