If you're not in the Oak Harbor/Eden Isles/Lakeshore Estates area the dell mostly blows.

Bayou Bonfuca and Bayou Liberty have some great areas with awesome properties.

The Oak Harbor exit is trashy. My wife's Uncle lives in Lakeshore Estates. It's a great location with some nice homes, but overall poorly developed.

As mentioned in a previous post, live in Bay St. Louis and commute to Slidell. It's +/- 30 minutes. A few more minutes and you're in Pass Christian.
