Except it is. Especially factoring in us being here to see it. Total solar eclipses won’t happen again after another 100 million years or so due to the orbit moving further out.

so it will be in a different position every year for the next 100 million years and will still be perfect? therefore it isn't perfect, but rather "close enough"?
