This CourtTV analyst earlier thinks he's basically screwed for lying about the knife.

He very well might be, but she just said she doesn't find Miu empathetic, maybe because of his accent, even though she herself as an accent.

She also keeps harping on "ripping someone's guts out and murdering someone else". Seems like she's already made her mind up that he overreacted to kids being kids.

At the time he probably didn't know the whole thing was on camera and it would be his word vs the pack of shitheads that just attacked him so he thought his only option was to lie.
