I don't think LA Democrats have someone like that on the bench. Jack Montoucet has basically disappeared after being part of a federal investigation, resigning as Secretary of DWF. Austin Badon down in NOLA recently switched to Republican. We haven't heard from Butch or Nick Gautreaux in ages.
Maddie Landry or Royce Duplessis ain't winning a state-wide race in Louisiana.
Cedric Richmond and Mitch Landrieu are probably smart enough to not bother even trying.

That's the only reason the idiot faction of the LA GOP should feel OK right now. The DEMs are somehow a bigger shite show.
