the WORST year Jr. had while a teammate of A-Rod
48 HR ; 134 RBI ; .285 / .384 / .576 (OPS+ 139)
he also won 4 gold gloves and an MVP during that stretch

the BEST season A-Rod had when he was teammates with Jr.
42 HR ; 124 RBI ; .310 / .360 / .560 (OPS+ 136)
did not win any gold gloves nor MVPs

so no, not only was A-Rod not better than Jr. for multiple seasons, but his best season when they were together wasn't even as good as Jr's worst season when they were together.

are you dumb?

go look at stats

quote:

Ken Griffey Jr. had a .300 batting average with 1,569 hits, 350 home runs, 1,018 RBIs and 940 runs scored in 1,375 games in his first 10 seasons.

quote:

Frank Thomas batted .320 with 1,564 hits, 301 homers, 1,040 RBIs and 968 runs scored in 1,371 games in his first 10 seasons

pretty much equal in everything but Junior had 50 more home runs and was a golden glove winner every year in the 90s, 7 silver sluggers, mvp and players choice award for player of the decade

frank only had 3 silver sluggers and no gold gloves. but did have 2 mvps

im ok with bonds but no way on pudge

quote:

Ivan Rodriguez batted .304 with 1,459 hits, 171 homers, 704 RBIs and 715 runs scored in 1,260 games in his first 10 seasons.

so way worse. and arod was not better in the 90s. not even close and even if you extend it to first 10 years for arod

quote:

Alex Rodriguez hit .308 with 1,535 hits, 345 home runs, 990 RBIs and 1,009 runs scored in 1,275 games in his first 10 seasons

almost identical to griffey in the 90s. so how could Arod be better in the 90s when his best seasons where 01-03?

as for bonds

quote:

Barry Bonds had a .302 batting average with 1,478 hits, 361 homers, 1,076 RBIs and 1,091 runs scored in 1,434 games between the 1990 and 1999 seasons.

so almost the same as griffey and not as good in the field

so again, explain how he was better?
