Because he needed to pitch……remember when the whole staff had TJ? I know you think it’s easy to play 2 ways but it’s not! Also isn’t easy to step back into SEC hitting after not swinging a bat for 6 months. This spring Guidry decided to devote all of his time to pitching…..CJJ had his lock-down short stop

I’m talking about coming into this season. He didn’t pitch at all in the summer or fall. He only hit and played SS/2B. He didn’t do well, so they moved him back to only being a PO in the spring. I’m asking you if the coaching staff thought our pitching staff was deep and we were thin as SS & 2B, which they did and that’s why Pearson and Neal were getting reps at 2B, why did they move Guidry from being an IF back to being a PO?
