This whole episode is a symptom of how a binary political view has penetrated every facet of our culture.
When Mulkey was a “right wing racist” WaPo and the LA Times came after her. Now that she is an “American hating woke lefty” the NY Post is after her.
This is about consumer journalism that relies on stoking division for clicks.
