Ironically, Queen was not on my list of favorites back in the 70's. It was only after I was well into my adult life that I became enamored with Freddie Mercury. The guy was a legendary showman. Gone way too soon. The world needs another Freddie Mercury. Amen. LINK

Freddie Mercury was one of a kind. No one like him before or since. It is truly a tragedy that he died so young.

Freddie Mercury get a lot of recognition for his abilities as a front man, and rightly so, but because of that his talents playing the piano and writing/arranging songs is often overlooked.
