Nowhere near enough places for truckers to park at night, especially when grocery warehouses want their deliveries at 9p and kick the truckers off their property at 1a.
Back in the days of paper logs we'd just keep going until we found an actual parking spot. Now we have electronic logs that tattle to our bosses and the cops if we go past our alloted times. Hence parking on the ramps - it's gotten really bad since the elog mandate.
