MLB take is dumb. I’m a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, and their continued success makes way less sense than the Pelicans being good. Hell look at the Spurs and see their historic success. We’re holding ourselves back, not the NBA or its culture/business model.

TB has always did an excellent front office job. Solid GM and Managerial hires.
Once in their new park, there is no reason to not expect the same possibilities as the Lightning and Buc fanbases.
