I will never apologize for admitting that the US post-WW2 has had the greatest empire to ever be seen on the planet, nor that we should do whatever we can to keep that empire intact to support our high quality of life.

Just because a bunch of people who call themselves conservatives were duped by artificial motivations for the War on Terror (because they wouldn't have accepted the real motivations) now want to run away from our responsibilities as the leader of the world doesn't mean we should.
