Don't forget the two new vehicles, updated wardrobes, and travel ball for the kiddos.
I don't get it either. My wife and I make $140k, and we live very comfortably. But there's a lot we don't do to afford life right now.

who doesn't go on a couple nice vacations in their 30s?
eta: this isn't directed at you personally, but it seems like so many people on here can't fathom that other people have money to spend too. I drive a tahoe and spend a week on 30a every summer, but there's no way these other people can afford it like i can
