Willie was NOT ONE of those guys. All those coaches above excelled in their X and O knowledge. Willie was hired in large part due to culture and communication. Hes in his third year and hes making X and O mistakes- basic assistants wouldn’t make. A better roster wont make it better. Hes had a better roster every year.

I’m just saying he was an up and coming coach.
X’s and O’s are a little overrated in today’s NBA anyway. Guys want to play for coaches they like and everyone is awesome so they can score at will.
Not saying they don’t matter but culture and chemistry matter more
