honestly, that's pretty fair, if the city knows they can get their moneys worth out of it.

it's a terrible deal for the city

City is on the hook for all maintenance, upgrades, etc. It adds up quickly, especially for a sport that only plays 8 fricking home games.

Several cities took over stadiums and realized, it's a money pit of expenses, and they have to compete and upgrade, or risk teams whining and threatening to leave.
