re: Why is the USPS allowed to continue to operate at a loss each and every year?

They way they're running and ruining it this year, it may be because they have to pay storage fees for all the first class mail that takes three weeks to go a hundred miles (unless they return it to sender as undeliverable, when it was deliverable.)
