I don't care what they name their projects. Most people have jobs and don't have the time to research and get outraged at nasa projects names. The most I'll contribute to that entire topic, here or in real life...will be this post.

You should care. Project Names confer INTENT.
Would an official PTB announcement commencing an "'Operation: DePop' is undeway" move the needle a bit more for you?
(Not that this articular Project APEP, named after the Serpent Deity of Chaos, Death, and Disorder is any different.)
