Sure, if you have an actual physical or mental disability. That doesn't describe 99% of workers I've seen in fast food places for example

There are for sure people that could be doing more and don't deserve a $20 an hour job, but LA isn't trying to raise minimum wage to $20 like California. But you do have people working fast food as a second job, or a someone that got let off, or just someone that is retired and needed to go back to work because of the cost of living.

But the LA minimum wage increase was going to be from $7.50 to $10, that's nothing. That $2.50 an hour isn't putting a small business out of business and if it does, your business is already on the way out because you're not making any money or you don't need employees. $7.50 an hour is a joke, I'm sorry.
