It's the same thing with baseball this year. You are replacing a bunch of experienced, proven players with a bunch of unproven "talent". Replacing multiple 1st round picks and coaches isn't as easy as some of y'all think it is.
Judging by this comment from you at the beginning of the season, you don't understand how hard it is to replace elite players

Um Kling made a pretty fricking great play in center field. I think we have a pretty great replacement for Crews

I’ve made comments on Kling on his batting since then. The comment you quoted was early on in the outfield. His outfield play is on par with Crews but no one gets on base like Crews and that’s sorely missed. Kling stalls every offensive chance for the team
Didn’t think I’d be attacked for liking the OC but surprising

It’s a lot different than baseball.
Offense begins with the offensive line, regardless of how much everyone loves the skill position players. This will be the best O-Line LSU has had since 2003. That alone makes the offense really good. If Caleb Jackson takes a step forward, our running game production increases greatly from last year. Yes, losing JD, Nabers, & BTJ hurts, but Nuss has proven that he can lead this offense. And.. when is the last time LSU didn’t have serious talent at the WR position? A few WR’s will step up.
The offense will be more than good.
