I have Hashimoto's. I've been on levothyroxine for probably 5 years now. In my case, my dad's side of my family all have had thyroid issues and also had to take levo/synthroid, so it's genetic.
I've tried elimination diets and they didn't change a thing that I measured. To my knowledge, there is no diet that has been formally studied that is known to reduce antibodies.
