He didn't live up to the hype but was still a very solid player when healthy

When he was traded to New Orleans the hype train came to a screeching halt.

But a career 11.9 point average is mediocre.

Solid player for sure, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Not great, but if you have prolific scorers he's a good fit as a defender, rebounder, and facilitator.

ETA:

His FT % is still mind blowing for a guard I think it's like 55% for his career.
