For LSU, Reese took 21 FG attempts (Mostly ALL Alligator-Armed, shoot from the hip Jesse James Crap she always does) and she had 8 FT, therefore, she had a higher percentage of FT to shots taken than Clark.

Clark % of FT to Shots 6/29 = 21%
Reese % of FT to Shots 8/21 = 38%

I agree with a lot of what you posted but this is not a clear indication of anything and a bad example to use. Reese is a paint scorer and part of he repertoire is drawing fouls from contact under the basket, and she is very good at it.

But, fouls are not what cost LSU this game. If you simply look at FGAs and FTAs the opportunity is there. LSU normally shoots FG% @ 46.7% with FTs @ 74.9%. In this game, they were FG% @ 38.6%, and FT% @ 64.7%. If they shoot enough better to split the difference they score 9 more points, they lost by 7. The 3rd quarter decided the game.
