lets try this out. obviously this will be most helpful between those who are geographically close to each other. post a list of plants you have that are easily divided/propagated/transplanted that you'd like to share AND post about what you'd like to find.
a quick tip...for most divided or transplanted plants, it's best to dig and pot and let them get past transplant shock before re-planting elsewhere, especially if it will be some time before they find their new homes. so be a good trader and spread healthy plants with a good chance of success.
here's what i have:
1) loquat (japanese plum). i have dozens of these small trees that sprouted from the fruit of a large loquat, which sadly died. they are easily pulled and potted. fantastic landscape tree with delicious fruit.
2) lemongrass. i can just yank and plant. it will grow anywhere there's sun
3) tall goldenrod. often dismissed as a "weed" it is actually a vital native plant for pollinators and is quite beautiful.
4) purple lantana. grows into a bush-like plant and then dies back each frost.
5) variegated vinca (periwinkle). well behaved vining/trailing growth that will thrive in sun and shade. easily spreads but just as easily controlled. purple flowers in spring
6) maypop (passionflower). climbing vine with incredible flowers that makes an edible fruit. dies back every year but will take over if you let the fruit drop
let's see what others have to share, and plant some free plants

Chris, I will give you a few days notice before my next BR trip. I'd like a lemongrass, vinca and a purple lantana.

I lost my maypop (passionflower) a few years ago after having it come back for many years. Would love to get another one started. All I have to offer right now are Dragon Fruit babies that I started from seed last year and then protected from the freeze. Really cool plants but may take a few years to bear fruit.

I have plenty of maypop (too much, it’s taking over). When they bear fruit, pick up when they drop and save the seeds for the future
I’ll pot you up some tomorrow

Awesome ...... Just let me know the best way for you to make the swap. BTW, I am in the Baton Rouge area, but Hammond wouldn't be a problem if that would make it easier on you. I also have a cutting started from my Blaze Climbing Rose if you are interested. Thanks
