Under Arafat, the PLO claimed portions of Egypt were original Palestinian lands and asked for the rights to that land.

Egypt told the PLO to go get fricked.

Not one ounce of Egyptian blood was ever shed.

When you figure out the difference in Egypt saying "NO" and Israel saying "NO", you will have the real reason.
