But this probably the best thing I've ever read about him. It gets to the point sometimes where you almost get sick of hearing so much about Shep, even with him being so great.

But wow!

The kid is exceptional and obviously driven. I wish i could meet his parents, because they must be exceptional also...

Leadership!

It's what is missing on our team

He will single handily change the climate with in the locker room IHMO...It may takes some time,

Even though he will be a freshman, I see him diving right in...speaking his mind when necessary..Leading by action is more important

you know, we really haven't had that in a long time. Someone that will establish a leader roll from the get go. I think it will be great for morale and help others voice there opinions.

Russell Shepard is the real deal.

I dont know if this story has been posted on another thread or not.

This is not hype, this is Russell.

After most games, a large number of the Cy-Ridge players congregate at IHOP. After most games, Russell will be there with the whole Shepard clan: parents, brother (Nick, also on the team), cousins, nephews.

He is a class young man who will succeed at whatever he attempts in life.

The Tigers are fortunate to have him.

Wow, those numbers for his last playoff game were better then Vince Young. His high school team must have no defense. Looks like we have our once in a decade QB for the 2nd time.

how can people doubt this guy, he may not be the best qb ever but the kid is a star and any team would be lucky to have this type of player.

I remember the hype behind Pryor and Perrilloux and it all felt hollow because you could tell these guys were just huge ego cases with great talent. RS is a smart young man and I would take any day of the week and twice on sunday over the others. Cant wait to see him in P&G
