A couple of things the highlights dont show:
1. Russell's ability to run the spread as a ball control offense to eat clock when needed.
2. This season, the patience he developed to allow plays to unfold, take whats given up by the defense, and keep the chains moving instead of trying to bust the big play every time.
3. Checking off to 4th and 5th options or freeing up receivers by rolling out and running right up to LOS then throwing over the coverage who come for him.

Bad News!!!!

I'll definitely be a Tiger fan for the next four years anyway.

Russell Shepard is the real deal.

I dont know if this story has been posted on another thread or not.

This is not hype, this is Russell.

After most games, a large number of the Cy-Ridge players congregate at IHOP. After most games, Russell will be there with the whole Shepard clan: parents, brother (Nick, also on the team), cousins, nephews.

He is a class young man who will succeed at whatever he attempts in life.

The Tigers are fortunate to have him.
