Don't know if the KotM Mothra was the sibling or the parent of the GxK Mothra. I suspect maybe that backstory is written in book form of some type, but I've not taken the time to read up on any of that. Not sure how it works in this universe, but I was under the impression that there can be only ONE at any time, kinda like the Slayer in Buffy. Who knows.
It clearly wasn't the same one though. She got obliterated and used her essence to help power up Godzilla to defeat Ghidorah.
