When I worked at KSMB in Laf, you couldnt give ULL tickets away most of the time. In fact they do give away at least 1/3 of them if not half.

Those numbers are likely doubled over actual. Look at any picture of the crowd from one of their games and you could recognize any one you know, the people are so sparce. The only game that has had a decent draw in recent years is McNeese in 2007, with attendance >30K.

Something else to know is that the average ticket price is something like $10-12, so one cajun fan doesn't remotely equal the economic impact of one LSU fan.

I work in Lafayette. We have four (4) ULL season tickets. The company employees rarely want them. I usually have to call a few people before I can find someone to take them. Thats during a good year (6-6). Last year, they went un-used for some games.
