Because Trump continuously gives the media so much ammo to paint him out to be “literally Hitler”,
It doesn’t matter who you are, they tear at any and all weaknesses you have. And if you a perfect choir boy, boy scout like Kavannagh?? They’ll make up stories, leak rumors, and fuel innuendo about you and make you defend yourself against baseless, evidence free charges.
This is how the machine operates. Any threat to the machine gets character assassination. If some R were allowed by the machine, it’s bc they are establishment stooges
