I can't help but feel that LSU fans (and Mulkey) are worrying far too much about this.
She is a polarizing figure. She was at Baylor, too.
She is confrontational and lacks a certain amount of "social polish."
If you listen to Mulkey on a regular basis, it's guaranteed that she will make you wince or shake your head at some point.
That's who she is. She makes no apologies for it. And as LSU fans we don't expect any because she's one of us. We love her. She's our crazy aunt.
She is also pretty much an open book, so I can't fathom this Kent Blab story being nothing more than rehash of Mulkey's run-ins and complaints from former players.
The media can defend Blab's story all they want and say he's a "respected" journalist. Those wagons have been circled a long time.
His headline on the so-called Brian Kelly "hit piece" was over-sensationalized and the story under-delivered.
C'mon. Collis Temple is the star of a story about Brian Kelly?
This "expose'" about Mulkey will die a quick death on the national news cycle, as long as we let it.

Yeah, he commented on that story saying it was not a hit piece but more on the socio-economic study.
But then he features CT in the article, which doesn't really fit that narrative IMHO and CT is of course very critical. And from what someone posted here CT brings a young black person to breakfast with he an BK to test how BK reacts and relates to that person and then gives him an arbitrary grade of C-.
Seems kind of a hitterish piece to me. BK probably told KM to stay away from that guy, I would have too.

Yeah, I think folks already have their opinion on Kim and are already trying to use the Baylor/Griner/stay in the closet stuff against her in recruiting. I'd be surprised if it's much more than a re-hashing of that, but we'll see.
