I think the poster above made an excellent point that guys who run at the combine, and are happy with their time, don’t run at LSU. The ones who do are the ones who ran slower than they expected at the combine. So obviously if your comparison group is the group that ran slower than they expected, then the later (LSU) times will probably be faster even if the track isn’t faster.

I’m not sure LSU is the faster track as much as it is the comfort of being in your environment. I’d imagine the nerves are much stronger in Indy for most of these guys compared to being on campus.
