The most important thing about selecting a golf coach is finding one that can communicate to you about your swing in a way you can comprehend it and make the necessary corrections.

Tech is good, but some of these guys lean too much on dazzling students with tech.

I have been to Jim and Rob.....but in the only person who could fix my game and help rebuild my swing is Chris Burkhalter at the Island. Every problem I take to him he gets fixed. By example, in our most recent couple lessons I was frustrated because I was hitting a straight ball off the tee, but only averaged 220. Maybe a good drive would be 230-240. After two lessons and then practicing what he taught me I averaging about 245 off the tee with my "A" ball reaching 265.

He teaches in a way that I was able to finally wrap my mind around. I suggest you give Burky a shot.
