Even if you don't get the top 10/15 HS recruits, the transfer portal will be a gold mine every year. You can get the top recruits you missed from HS, like HVL, Wolfenbarger, and others. The transfer portal has started to close the gap between the top 10 teams and average teams. Look at Ole Miss and their annual dip in the portal. LSU will need to do the same, get couple top transfers every year, like getting an experienced top 5 PG from the portal the next couple months. With LSU's championship name brand and NIL's, there will be plenty of top transfers who want to come to LSU.
