Question. Why wouldn't the ship have already been basically on a more dead center course rather than a course?

I do tend to think this was an accident but sheesh, it also looks like a whole series of F-ups too.

After looking at this video to me that’s an accident. I am shocked how quickly it turned (granted the video is speed up)
The good thing is that when it happened I could have sworn that there were no vehicles crossing the bridge at that instant! I could be wrong!

it was a deliberate hit..
They want you to not believe your eyes.
The video shows the ship turned right before the hit!

They won't be showing that video anymore

Before loss #1 the vessel was off center for passing direcly under the center of the span. Why would you steer hard right coming out of loss #2 when you were already so close to the support? Why not set hard to port? Way too much inertia to go in reverse so I would have to assume someone panicked and steered the wrong way.
