Considerably less. If they are drinking alcohol then that means they’re actually socializing which does not exist anymore.

The lengths we’d go to just to hang out. Riding bikes all over a non-pedestrian town like BR. Parties in fields, LSU lakes and Union, False River cabins, woods etc. My first beer was at the Caterie with a friend, no ID and a Cheeseburger in Paradise.

We didn’t need alcohol, but man did it flow in the late-80s, early-90s including when drinking age was still 18.

The liquor store on Highland in the ghetto would sell to you or the random patron you paid to buy for you. Northgate sold us kegs if we could find an 18yo w ID.

My boys are only 3 and 5, so this is the only teen/collegehood I know. I assume it’s vastly different now.

This x 1,000. They drink less, use drugs less, and have sex less. Sounds good on paper until you realize the reason is that they aren’t going out anymore. They are completely addicted to their phones and the most depressed generation on record.
