I remember a 1000 page report detailing Russia's attempted influence on the Presidential election. K remember Trump not reading it. Then he asked Putin if Russia tried to influence the election. Putin smiled and said of course not.
Then Trump said he believed Putin. Why wouldn't he.
And Putin knew at that point he owned Trump.
