Do auto insurance companies still charge more for boys than girls?

..and, if so, how do they get away with it without a lawsuit coming their way?
My other question: Does a trans (girl that thinks it’s a boy) say they are female on their auto insurance policy to claim a lower rate?

Because they have actuarial tables that show the higher risk boys have than girls. It’s the same as charging more for flood insurance for being in a flood zone. Higher risk.

Men also drive more.
Because we work more hours.

When I was coming up you had to turn 26 for your rate to go down. That for for a single male. When my son turned 26, single, twenty-three years ago his rate didn't go down. Called the agent and found out it had been raised to 30. I said WTF. He said single males were more liable to get tickets and have wrecks because they were on the road more chasing girls.
I told him you don't know the married guys I work with.

Did you find out who cost insurance companies more?

Yes. Boys get in more accidents, have more serious accidents, damage more property, etc. Insurance is a business.

For a while, at least, they charged more for girls. Girls started texting more with the advent of smartphones and getting into more accidents.

We were told by our insurance agent that they actually charge more for girls now than they do boys due to the fact that females drive distracted more often than male

You never hear Rachel Maddow complaining about this when he’s on one of his “male privilege/gender equity” rants.
