That was probably me, and I'm right.
Is it searching Google or bing? No. It is looking at its training data to come up with something that is the most likely correct value, and in the case of ChatGPT, that set includes a whole lot of the internet.
Is it a useful tool? Of course, I use it almost every day. It's not going to take over the world, and the hype is getting into the crypto realm.

Again, that’s not how they work. The training data is not stored in the model.
